Privacy policy
The plain-English version: we run a marketing website, not a data business. Here is exactly what that means for you.
We don’t sell your data, run ad trackers, or build profiles on you. The only thing we collect is basic, anonymous traffic analytics so we can see which pages people find useful. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply. That’s genuinely it.
Who we are
Curiossa LLC (“Curiossa,” “we,” “us”) runs this website at curiossa.com. This policy covers the website only. The individual products we build may have their own privacy policies, and we’ll always link those from the product itself.
What we collect
Almost nothing — and never anything you don’t hand us on purpose:
- Analytics data — which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you’re using. It’s aggregated and not tied to your name.
- Anything you email us — if you write to hello@curiossa.com, we receive your address and whatever you say, and we keep it so we can reply.
We don’t take payments on this site, we don’t ask you to make an account, and we don’t track you across other websites.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It sets a few cookies in your browser and sends some usage data to Google, who process it on our behalf. It runs across the whole site.
If you’d rather not be counted, you have options: use your browser’s setting to block cookies, browse in private / incognito mode, or install Google’s official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking it won’t break anything on the site.
The newsletter
If you spot a “subscribe” box on the homepage — heads up, it doesn’t go anywhere yet. Right now it doesn’t send your email to us or anyone else; it’s a placeholder while we build the real thing. When we wire it up for real, we’ll update this policy first.
When you contact us
Email is the only way we collect personal information directly. If you write to hello@curiossa.com or press@curiossa.com, we’ll have your message and address for as long as we need to help you — and we won’t use it for anything other than replying.
Who we share it with
Nobody — except Google, and only the analytics data described above. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. The one other time we’d hand anything over is if the law genuinely required it.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies anytime in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the add-on above.
- Email us to ask what we hold on you, or to delete it. Since that’s essentially “the emails you sent us,” it’s a quick request to honor.
Children
This is a marketing site for grown-ups following or buying software. It isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes to this policy
If we ever start collecting more than analytics and your emails, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. For anything significant, we’ll try to make it obvious — not bury it.
